BR/SC Project, Nunavut

Nordic Diamonds Ltd. (the "Company" or "Nordic") wishes to announce that the diamond drilling program at its BRSC-WM Diamond Project in Nunavut has been completed. Six targets were drill tested and kimberlite was not intersected. The drill holes targeted topographic and geophysical anomalies however sources responsible for the two indicator mineral trains remain undiscovered. The Company is evaluating its options and will decide on a future course of action.
  • The BRSC property is located immediately to the north of Contwoyto Lake, approximately 175 kilometers northwest of the Ekati Diamond Mine. The property is coincident with the Slave Craton and lies within the mystical "Corridor of Hope", a zone that encompasses a large percentage of the kimberlite pipes extending from the Lac de Gras region in the southeast to the Coronation region in the northwest. The BRSC property falls about half way along this favorable zone.

  • The BRSC property is surrounded by 11 diamond bearing kimberlite pipes located within 10 kilometers of the property boundary to the south and west. The most significant of these is the Jericho kimberlite owned by Tahera Mines situated about 7 kilometers south of the BRSC property boundary. The Jericho kimberlite contains 5.5 million tonnes of reserves and resources averaging 0.85 carats per tonne. This deposit is currently in production giving the company an close proximity infrastructure.
