Position: Advisor

Dr. McDonald is a consultant for the Company's Finland Diamond Project. He was formerly the VP Exploration for Winspear Diamonds Inc. While working there he and his technical team discovered and developed the Snap Lake diamond deposit. De Beers subsequently acquired this deposit in 2000 for $480 million. He has also served as VP Exploration for Diamodex Resources Ltd. where he remains as a director. He was also Chief Geologist and Exploration Manager -- Western Canada with Esso Minerals for ten years.

Dr. McDonald's success in the field is complemented by a distinguished academic career, including a 13-year tenure as a university professor in Saskatchewan, Canada and Canberra, Australia. He has also served as Interim Director for the Mineral Deposit Research Unit at the University of British Columbia during its formative stage. He is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists and Geological Society of Australia, and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists, British Columbia.

 
oMalcolm McCallum, Ph.D.
Position: Advisor

Dr. McCallum is a co-founder of HDM Laboratories Inc. of Colorado, which specializes in diamond and gold sample analysis. He has been engaged in kimberlite and diamond-related research and exploration since 1964. His international career has included his participation in the discovery of diamondiferous kimberlite occurrences in the NWT, Nunavut, BC, Colorado/Wyoming and Venezuela.

Dr. McCallum is Professor Emeritus of Geology & Research Geologist at Colorado State University, where he is still affiliated as a senior research scientist. His professional credentials include being a Fellow of the Geological Society of America, the Society of Exploration Geochemists; the Society of Economic Geologists, and the Mineralogical Society of America.

 
oNikolai Pokhilenko, Ph.D.
Position: Advisor

Dr. Pokhilenko has more than 35 years experience exploring for diamonds in Russia, Canada and various other parts of the world. He played a key role in the discovery of the Snap Lake diamond deposit in northern Canada, where, since 1994, he served as technical advisor to Winspear Diamonds Inc. He currently acts as technical advisor to Diamondex Resources Ltd. He also serves as the Chief Research Geologist for Alrosa, the Russian Diamond Company. He is also Head of the Laboratory of Diamond Deposits at the Diamond Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Novosibirsk, Russia. He and his team are credited with the discovery of three diamondiferous kimberlite fields in Yakutia, Siberia. Dr. Pokhilenko's team of Russian experts has worked with Poplar Resources Ltd. at the Sundsvall Diamond Project in Sweden and the Kuopio-Kaavi Diamond Project in Finland.

Dr. Pokhilenko's distinguished scientific career has earned him numerous awards for his efforts in locating diamond deposits in Russia. He has been decorated with the Order of Lenin and the Order of the Soviet Union.

 
oAdrian Stanley (Stan) Deakin, M.Sc, D.I.C. (Geology)
Position: Advisor

Mr. Deakin has been involved in diamond exploration and development since 1971. His international career has taken him to Canada, Australia, Africa and South America.

Mr. Deakin worked at the Argyle diamond in Australia for 17 years as Superintendent Geological Services and was involved in all aspects of project evaluation.
It was during his tenure at Argyle that he developed a technique for estimating recovered macrodiamond grade in kimberlites and lamproites using microdiamonds. This method saved many millions of dollars in drilling and evaluation costs and was used successfully at Argyle and Snap Lake.

Mr. Deakin is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and has been employed by DeBeers, Argyle Diamonds and Winspear. He has also provided geological services to many diamond exploration companies including Diamondex Resources, Ashton Mining and BHP Diamonds.
